I've just discovered from a potential buyer that ebay has re-organised my posting preferences to exclude her. While sorting that out I checked my exclusions, and wondered if there are any good reasons not to post to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and UAE?

Ebay don't sort your preferences, you do. If you are happy to ship to those countries then do so, there are some very good international markets now and any increas ein buyers is a good opportunity to sell more.
Personally I limit my international sales to £46 so I am covered against loss using a COPI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks - I have had all my site and posting preferences set for ages, and regularly check them, but for some inexplicable reason Norway had been blocked (nothing at all to do with me - one of those odd ebay glitches). Normally I sell items well within the £46 limit, but have a couple of things that might just do better than that, particularly internationally. I definitely don't know.0

If an item is likely to go for more than £46 then you'll need to sort out a courier to make sure you are covered as RM have no suitable service over that amount.

Yes - isn't it absurd that Royal Mail haven't got that covered? I've had a patch of doing well in Scandinavia, and have no idea why.0
