    Hi

No, Groupon don't mention anywhere in the t&c's that it is introductory or that it excludes existing customers

halibut, i understand that companies may not have to accept vouchers, but they have made a sale (admittedly a loss leader) but still a sale, and not provided the service that was promised and mis sold at the point of sale

You may also find their terms state a contract is not formed at the point of payment, but at the point of acceptance -- in this case they may well reject your offer to purchase their services and cancel the transaction/refund the money.

Have you read your driving instructors terms and conditions? Its likely in there one one offer per customer blah blah blah.

their website says 'one intro offer per customer' but this voucher was not sold as an intro offer, it did not mention intro anywhere in the t&cs or on the face of the offer

I think you need to contact Groupon for cancellations. Atleast in other threads involving Groupon thats how others have done it -- well tried to atleast.

I would have thought you could have used it because it's not in conjunction with the introductory offer seeing as that was several months ago. I guess they expected their deal to be an incentive to get learners to drive and therefore new custom. They probably didn't expect existing customers to use the vouchers even though there's obviously nothing wrong with that. Hope it works out for you and good luck on the driving :-)
