Just a simple one. Is it best to lay the carpets first?

I would. If you don't you'll have to take them down to trim the bases again.

Tx Glyn I thought that might be the case. I guess the order might be:

Remove doors
Remove old carpet
Paint patched up or new door frames
Fit carpet
Fit doors

Just trying to get the plan together so we spend as few days in the local pub/Inn as possible. Well that's what I tell the misses :beer:
