  • I agree, what the hell was that bites on the inside of the thighs business about. Surely that should sent the wind-up alarm bell ringing. What's up with this site, it's either people trying to resolve ridiculous self-inflicted problems or wind-ups.
Not the most helpful comment in the world! Unless it is a blatant wind up, I'm happy to spend my time helping people - what if this is real?! I'd hate to think of not helping someone in such a situation. If you can't say anything helpful, why spend your time coming onto this post?

horsebite 11 up, 4 downTo grab a fleshy part on another's body, particularly on the underside of the upper arm, squeeze tightly, and then pull your fingers loose without loosening one's grip. Creates a bruise identical in appearance to the one produced by the bite of a horse.
Mr. Jones sent Bill to the office for giving other kids horsebites, noting that such severe bruising could cause blood clots.

As it says in the example, may cause such severe bruising that it leads to blood clots (I don't know if this is medically factual, but I wouldn't be waiting for HR to faff around if it is possibility)
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I agree entirely - there is no evidence that it is a wind-up. And even if it is, the advice is sound, and so it may help somebody else who isn't winding us up. Such things do happen.

Things have changed! I cant think of a single lorry driver (my dad was one for over 40 years - so I know a few!!) that would tolerate this behaviour from anyone. I cant believe that there are a bunch of grown men allowing this thug to continue intimidating people. I can see why people think this is a wind up, on one hand it sounds like HR/management are scared of him then they will stand by and let honest hard working men get threatened by him. If they are trying to protect themselves then they are lining themselves up for a fall.

Get a union and get the Police involved.

    Madness!
