Welcome to MSE forums. Have you quoted the correct model number there as according to this the MA101 is a USB wireless adapter, not a router?
If it's a wireless router then both/all machines can be connected to it at the same time. To set up wireless, run the Wireless Network Setup wizard in Control Panel on each computer. Make sure you enable security (encryption) on the router and use a long, random network key, e.g. from https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm.0 -

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome,
Yes you are correct It is a wireless adapter and not router, so I reckon I need to get a router would you have any ideas that what would work with Blueyonder or does it not matter?
Thanks again.0 -
I think I'm correct in saying that Blueyonder ISP is over BT telephone lines, i.e. not cable. Therefore any ADSL modem wireless router would do - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/cat/Wireless/subcat/ADSL-/-Broadband-Modem-/-Routers. I recommend Netgear DG834G.
If you're currently using a USB ADSL modem for your broadband band connection it's better and easier to ditch that and get a combined ADSL modem wireless router device.0 -

Ok I now have some info,
I have a wireless adapter plugged into the back of my Desktop PC its the MA101 by netgear, and I also have the ME102 netgear router, my ISP is Blueyonder and it runs off cable and not a BT line.
So am I correct in saying that I need to set up two new connections on the laptops and thats it as im not sure if it is all I need to to.
Above advice recieved with thanks.

you need a wireless cable router/modem to replace the existing cable modem, then you can connect wirelessly to the modem from the PC and the laptopsEx forum ambassador

Are you sure? Normally the cable operators modem is retained and connected using an Ethernet cable to a DSL/Cable wireless router like this one. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
