How long have the two cases been open? The calculation letter you've got should show how they work out what you pay, that would help work out whether you're on New Rules or Old Rules.0 -
i got the letter in june this year so the case's have been open since then.0

You appear to have the boys more than their mother in which case should you not be receiving the child benefit and tax credits for them
Is the Friday-Sunday, 2 nights per week or 3? how many school holidays at an additional 4/5 nights per week? - do you have to pay for childcare for the holiday time they are with you or does their mother do this?0 -
Sounds to me like they have messed up the calculation big time. You need to get a breakdown of where they got their numbers from. If both cases are on CSA 2 there is no way your liability could be that high with less than 2 months of arrears. They have to be working off a wrong salary figure or have you on CSA 1 or something really odd. Did you send them 2 payslips with teh correct monthly income on?
Find out you MPs surgery time and go and visit it .with any paperwork you have if you can or email him/her if you can't get to teh surgery. As mentioned above contact NASCA. Its definitely wrong so don't get down hearted and fight the bug gers until they get it rights
EMI think opinions should be judged of by their influences and effects, and if a man holds none that tend to make him less virtuous or more vicious, it may be concluded that he holds none that are dangerous; which I hope is the case with me.0 -
You need to call the CSA and ask them what income they've used for the assessment, how much shared care allowance has been given, and how many children are in the cases. Double check what the initial effective dates are for both cases too. This is when they either first phoned you or sent out the forms. Have they given you an option to set up a direct debit?0
