Thank you all, I'm still chuffed to bits and haven't spent any money today, its helped get me a bit more focussed again
Moo2Moo, I have already cashed in some tesco vouchers for our Isle of Wight trip to use and the steam railway will probably be one of the places we go to

WOW WOW WOW:j:j:j
what fabby news, well done you, i get a real kick out of seeing you knock another month off, but getting down to your target is amazing....i guess you are still going to keep going????
knocking 15 years off is a fantastic feat, each month when that happens you can think of that money as 'free money'....you will be able to do great fun things!
hope things with ds improve for you. going to look up geocaching now, haven't got the foggiest what you are talking about!0 -
that does sound fun and never heard of it before....my boys would have loved that when they were little....0

Nanto3girls - that's a really good win, at least its something practical and useful, much better than a keyring or something daft :T
Savingmore - Of course I'm going to carry onI initially wanted to get it down to then as I *assumed* that would be when my child maintenance payments would end (ds leaving education), oh no silly me, I should have known they'd stop years before that
Anyhow, my next target was to get rid of the mortgage completely by my 40th birthday (August 2013), this won't happen but I am still trying to get it whittled down as quickly as I possibly canRealistically I think it will take another 3 years or so, and there may be yet more hiccups along the way, my car won't go on forever and will need replacing at some point, but who knows, there may be some maintenance at some point before that, who knows :rotfl::rotfl:
