Cheap Guest Houses/Hotels/BED AND BREAKFASTS IN LONDON

Hello all

I have to go over to London for 8 days in August to look after my daughter as she has to go into hospital and was wondering if anyone knows any cheap places to stay?

I have spent the last 2 days searching for loads of places but they seem to be very overpriced.

Any advice or ideas will be great

To save people just repeating the searches you have done, can you give us some idea of where you have looked and what figure you regard as being 'overpriced' ?

Exactly what dates are you looking for ?
  • I have assumed that your daughter is young (which may not be the case) - but if this is the case you will be allowed to stay in the hospital with her.

I think the stay with a local sites are the cheapest, https://www.airbnb.com and www,crashpadder.com
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    You could try University accomodation.

If your daughter is in a hospital near Euston you might like to consider somewhere outside of London like Watford as there is a fast train from Watford Junction that takes 15-20 minutes to get into Euston. There is a Jurys Inn or Holiday Inn near the train station. There are Premier Inns and and Travelodges in Watford Central that are a 20 minute walk away from the train station.

Hope all goes well for your daughter in hospital.

Is she in a hospital near Euston? Because if she's e.g. in Woolwich then Euston (or even central London) is the last place you would want to be.
