Laptop for around £500?

My son is looking to buy a laptop, ideally for around £500.
He wants it to be capable of HD video editing, some light gaming and to play an online game called Eve.
If £500 isn't enough he could probably up his budget a bit!
Thanks in advance

Maybe something like this, with an i3 processor, 1GB graphics and 6GB RAM for £488.77: https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Samsung_RV511_1041054.html
Extending the warranty to 3 years for £49.97 might not be a bad idea either.0 -

The 315 isn't that powerful to be fair, certainly not gaming wise anyway.
This one may be a bit better for the gaming side of things, and perhaps in some areas of video encoding. CPU slightly slower though

'Only' 4gb ram, but then if it was for serious video editing, you wouldn't be using a laptop
