Tickets to Destinations Holdiay Ex'n in Earls Ct only 99p

This is from the Cox & Kings glossy customer magazine, which is mailed to umpteen thousand people so I have no qualms about repeating it here!

The Destinations Holiday & Travel Show (sponsored by The Times) is on at Earls Court from 1-4 February. It's "the essential event for travel inspiration" (apparently). Tickets are £8 in advance, £10 on the door or FREE if you do the following:

1. Go to https://www.destinationsshow.com
2. Select London
3. Go to the online box office and select which day you want to go
4. When asked where you heard of the show, select EXHIBITOR
5. On the following screen select COX & KINGS

The ticket price will reduce to £0 plus 99p have it posted to you.

  • I opted for the 'print at home' option and, bizarrely, even though I'd picked Sunday at Earls Court, the ticket had 'NEC Birmingham' written on it.

The woman at Seetickets was extremely helpful. She was aware of the free exhibitor offer and refunded the erroneous ticket and is sending me one for Earls Court in the post.

So my advice would be to avoid the 'print at home' option.

Or order a Trailfinders brochure online, and they will send you a free ticket with the brochure! Doesn't even cost you 99p!

The tickets I got from Trailfinders (as per above) are valid for either show.

How frustrating! Got the trailfinders brochure and mag today........can't see anything in there about a ticket to the show!

Any clues as to where i should be looking?!

I just noticed that when you try and book tickets on the https://www.destinationsshow.com site, the ticket price is reduced to free regardless of which exhibitor you book. I picked 'Rough Guides' for the Birmingham event cos I do have some of their books and it reduced the price to FREE.

Will have to have a go at that!

its very sad but I am a bit of a holiday addict, and actually its the planning and prep that i love as much as the holiday so would love this type of show. My partner will humour me and come with me, but not at full price! So I shall have a go with rough guides- i buy a lot of their books too. Obviously being a travel planning freak!

    I love it!

Just entered the code in for the tickets, it came in as free for both tickets - still had to put in my card details so just hoping i won't get charged. waiting for the confirmation email to come and print at home option!
