What would you do if in my shoes?

Hi everyone.
Ok, here goes: I had a business that sent me bankrupt. I am now discharged. The business loan I had was a personal loan, cos the bank said it would be better and cheaper for me. So when I went bankrupt I had accrued a lot of charges because they wouldn't close my account until things were finalised. Now they have made my girlfriend pay the charges (joint account), which I think is terrible.
I found out about claiming bank charges back, and I have emailed HSBC asking for my bank statements, but after 45 days without a reply I re-sent it...again, no reply. Can I chase this or can my girlfriend do it?

Next thing is Lloydstsb. We both cannot have a current account so she opened a basic account with this bank, but she left them due to the charges being way to high, even after all this about bank charges came to light. She is refusing to pay them, and has sent a preliminary letter (thanks to you guys on this site:beer: ) but as we await a reply, they keep hounding her for the cash.

What is the best way to get our credit score back on track, and how long will it take?

To deal with your information request. Use the letter in THIS POST.
