isn't selling vouchers that are yours ok? its like saying you can't car boot the freebies that you get with them!!
Roll on sunshine, as welshy said sitting there with a tin of slimfast:rotfl:
if you aquire more vouchers that you need I can't see the harm in selling them, I have brought vouchers from ebay before as none of my local stores ever have them and for a minimal cost I definatley get the most from them - and am grateful for those that do it, and of course all our swaps
Thanks Coupon-Mad yes I did mean you!coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -
I could be wrong but I think the 'mean' person was implying that Welshy had been given vouchers from posters on here and was selling them on. Not a nice thing to say and completely wrong.
I love MSE but there are posters on here who seem to take pleasure in looking down their noses at others and preach at people as though they are perfect. We should all agree to disagree where needed and get on with the serious business of money saving and hopefully the odd laugh along the way.0 -
Hear hear, Floflo, let's not let one bad apple (the troll poster) and the fact that R&R is coming to an end get us down!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am having trouble opening your email in my pm box oh used computer and now i can only open emails from one mse'r (she knows who she is and can vouch for me that I do send coupons) I can also only reply to that person as well, it comes up proxy error otherwise blah blah.
Anyway kids have had D&S bug and my ebay has gone to pot also, Vouchers and parcels galore were sent today. Sorry I never thought to try and plaster the thread with an apology :rotfl:
My apologises all for hijacking the thread but I can't see any other way of letting blue know!!
Lol, I was more worried the postie had lost them, I did wonder if you were having problems and thought it odd that I was getting no reply, however I did not want to make you feel awkward by calling you on here! Thanks for the message and hope kids are better soon!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

My oh my what have I been missing??????? Been too busy shopping:rotfl:
Come on now for the hassle of driving to tesco well maybe two or three before you find a stack of vouchers, nabbing a haul of them whilst trying not to look like you are doing so, getting them out of the shop under your arms praying they don't fall out all over the floor, getting them home, taking their photo and loading all the necessary on to e-bay. Responding to silly e-mails, sending invoices, waiting for cheques, wrapping them up ,dragging them to the post office etc etc I think who ever does this for a couple of quid may be mad:rotfl: . But then again it does give people like myself who live near an absolutely tiny cr*p tesco a chance to get our hands on them for not alot of pennies. They are providing a very good service in my opinion. For me to get to a tesco which does have these various coupons would cost me at least 3 times as much in petrol and at least half a day of my time.
Much easier to sit at home and bid.
Personally I have never bought them from e-bay as everyone on here has been more than generous to me:T .
So stop being so silly, each to their own.
So how long do you think a thingy of toothpaste - cylinder thing lasts??? Trying to work out how long my supply will last:rotfl: :rotfl: How sad is that???
I have very few quits left - found a new use for them. Wrapping my sons shoot out cards up in to send as swaps:rotfl: I am spreading the word:rotfl:0 -
I unsubsribed myself from this thread for a while but now I have a question so I hope it is safe to come back?
I have Quit coupons for toiletries and beauty. Can any of them work for baby essentails - I want to buy wipes, lotion, cotton wood, baby bath.
Are any of these on BOGOF?
I have a 250 extra points coupon from the baby and toddler club for a £10 spend on baby essentials but want to also use some coupons

Sadly not, I don't think the baby toiletries work.
However, you can use that to your advantage at the till to use maximum Health & toiletries coupons and get money off the Baby stuff too. So you could buy £10-worth of baby stuff (it's BOGOF on Johnson's wipes and baby shampoo at the mo so you'd only be spending half that amount really and the Baby Club coupon will still work) and £10-worth of BOGOF shower gels, bath foam, or toothpaste/toothbrushes, and use:
2 x £1.25 Beauty and
2 x £1.25 toiletries and your
250 points on baby toiletries and
a Colgate 40p coupon against each toothpaste (it works on Sensodyne etc)
& see if the pharmacy has any £2 off £8 beauty/toiletries leaflets, use one.
It looks to the cashier like you have spent more on 'toiletries' (because of the baby stuff) so they should accept the coupons shown. We know the coupons will in fact have worked only against your other toiletries (except the baby-stuff points coupon of course).
Long and the short of it is (thanks to BOGOFs and coupons) you'll get at least £5.00 off a net £10 spend, and more off if you find a £2 off leaflet and if you buy toothpaste and so can also use Colgate ones. But you'll actually have £20-worth of items to show for it.

The tills don't recognise baby toiletries as 'toiletries' for the purpose of the coupons. I tried my luck the other week. I bought two big bottles of Johnsons Gold Baby Shampoo (BOGOF) alongside some other toiletries. When one of the coupons wasn't accepted, I took it to Customer Services and said that I had spent x amount on toiletries and the voucher hadn't scanned.
She checked my receipt. The baby shampoo was listed as 'gold shampoo' and she took the voucher and gave me £2.50 back for it.I don't usually quibble with vouchers when they aren't accepted but INMHO baby toiletries are toiletries and the voucher doesn't state that they are excluded so I felt fairly confident about taking the voucher to CS.
Edit: Incidentally, the Johnsons BOGOF took off slightly more than the single amount value. From memory the price was about £2.60 each and the BOGOF discounted about £2.75 or so.0 -
Thank you for the last two helpful emails.
I am going to try some Johnsons wipes and the Johnsons Gold shampoo plus some toothpaste and try two beauty and two toiletry, some 40p Colgate plus the 250 points coupon. Just hope the till person does not question using two of the same and call over the nasty TS.
I just have to time it right so as to avoid the nasty CS just in case I need to get something corrected.
Please has anyone got these extra £2 off £8 coupons? Not been able to find these, tried York and Chester Tesco pharmacy counters
I have a few things to swap for them, pm me
