Tesco's quit Kit money off coupons inside

Hello Everybody ...
Oh Dear ... Have been reading through the late night skirmish ....
Sorry for the deja-vu but I would reiterate that this is not the Welsh one we know ...
But I would point out also ... what would be the problem if she or any of us sold vouchers on Ebay ... ? ... I personally have not sold any ... I don't get enough ...:rotfl: ... but I have bought a few ... and sometimes they have been Tesco ones ... and I am grateful to those sellers ... It is only possible to swap so many vouchers on here and I do not want to seem to be always begging ... so Ebay is sometimes a good way of picking up coupons ... especially bundles ...
I may be wrong but I think as long as contributers to this board are helpful and part of the community ... If they sell coupons they have picked up this is not a crime ... as we do not know everybody's circumstances and some may have valid reasons for wanting to sell ... Saying this I do feel that most contributers use, swap or give their coupons away ... rather than sell ... as this is of course the most profitable route ...
Me thinks Welshy that this post ... as it is a first post and so far only post ... was maybe sent by someone with a little axe to grind ... maybe a member assuming another 'nome de plume' ... please someone tell me how to spell that ....
Anyshakes ... back to my dog blanket ...LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -
quick question - I've only just come across the Quit Kit packs!! so fogive me for being 'thick'!!
would this work with both the QK'Beauty' and 'Toiletry' :-
Buy 6 TESCO MIND AND BODY SOAK (88p each but on offer at 2 for £1)
6x88=£5.28 (BUT offer is effectively 6 bottles for £3) so use 1 QK'Beauty' and '1 QK Toiletry' leaving 50p to pay for 6 bath soaks??
would be grateful if someone more experienced would confirm this...THANK YOU !!XX0 -

Unfortunately, you might have learned the lesson that this is why swapping via this site is discouraged and is actually against the rules of the site.
(I'm not trying to single you out as I know that lots of other established members do swap vouchers and with the best of intentions.) Ultinately, you have no comeback if somebody promises you something and doesn't fulfill their side of the bargain. The extra concern is that another user then has access to your personal information (real name and address.)
Martin does not have the time or the financial resources to get involved in any disputes between members which is why the rule about not swapping or even giving items away was introduced HERE.
I think swapping is still allowed via www.bobsfreestuffforum.co.uk and the paidtoshop forum.0 -
Hi jaspalc,
It should work exactly as you say. I have not actually bought that product but usually the Bath Foams/soaks and the Shower Gels count as both 'toiletries' and 'beauty'.
Always best to go to a young male cashier, never an older woman who looks like she's sucking a lemon. Just buy a couple of other bits so you're not obviously just paying 50p, maybe some milk, bread and a magazine with coupons in it (see MBN's magazine thread also on this board) and you will be quids in! You can usually ask the cashier to scan some manufacturers' coupons too and save even more (e.g. ones cut from said magazines).
Does anyone know if the roll-on deodorants count as both beauty and toiletries? Are there any (for women) on BOGOF at the mo?
Decided I don't need any more bath foams, shower gels or toothpastes for a few months, so I would like to buy other things I do not have such huge stockpiles of for a change.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think am that MSEer mentioned by Sarah?
Yes I can vouch for Sarah that she does send coupons out for swaps, we swapped recently and it's more than she had mentioned, thanks hun!
I know you were delayed sending them out due to kids' sickness bug Sarah, no probs.
As bluetimone and I have also pm'd and swapped without probs before, if either of you want me to forward a pm to the other via my pm's (IYSWIM) I would be happy to help. Don't know why Sarah can only get pms from me though (if it is me)!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I had a good shop today, not fantastic, but still got some goodies!!
Purchased a pack of pampers, used £2 off coupon, 2x 100 points on pampers and 200 points on new baby (works, although purchased baby dry) Tried to use feel n learn, didn't work.
Second transaction, purchased a pair of trousers for work £15 and a bag for mum for mothers day £15, used £6 spring time, £6 QK and £6 blue, spent £12 for the two! Happy with that, also used £2 off £20 from Sainsbury's! I love the new SA I go to, he scans anything but I always check, just in case.
Thank you so much to Karen23 and onlyoneme for sending me various coupons! Much appreciated.
No toiletries today as I'm sick of current offers, and want to wait till they change up a bit.
p.s - On a quick side note, I couldn't care less if Welshy *was* selling vouchers on Ebay or not, she is a great MSE'r and person in my opinion, so trying to bad mouth her is futile IMO."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Glad to see all the bickering has ended I dont like it when someone is singled out & picked on - it was beginning to get like the tesco thread. I like this thread & the boots thread as it seems to flow nicely & people are so helpful & friendly.
I had a great haul today. I was after clothes but had limited clothing vouchers ( I kept getting out bidded on e-bay), so I decided to combine it with my quit vouchers & the h&b vouchers (another kind mse sent me some -thanks)
I got
8x plax
4 x tesco mind & body
I spent £30 clothing & got some other shopping. Before BOGOF £60
Vouchers I used
8x plax £1
5x QB x £1.25
4x QT x £1.25 ( I handed in 5 but just noticed 1 didnt scan)
2x £2 H&B toiletry
1 x £2 random coupon
1 x £4 kids clothing
1 X £6 Q clothing
1 x £6 spring clothing
Total vouchers used £41.25 by using plax/quit it actually took another £11.60 off the rest of my shopping.
leaving me £12 to pay. The CO kept asking if I had anymore vouchers. I didnt dare hand any more in as I felt I was taking the mickey a bit.
Im now making up hampers for 2 raffles this week all with toiletries kindly donated by tescos.
