Just did another shop of groceries and h&b, this Tesco had completely run out of Plax, so had to adjust my plans! Usually buy just 4x Plax but this time got:

4x small Sanex @ 1.79 = 7.16
2x Orig Source @ 1.97 = 3.94
2x Palmolive handwash @ 1.56 = 3.12
Total before BOGOF 14.22
less 8.46 BOGOF = 5.73
less 1x £2.50 HB
less 2x £1 HB
less 4x £1.25 QK
= free toiletries and £3.77 off other shopping. Not as good as Plax deal but nice to get some different items .

Tried £4 DM voucher but wouldn't scan. Swapped it with a spare from my handbag , that wouldn't scan either :eek: . One was from yesterday's paper, the other from last Saturday. The SA tried the handheld scanner and typing in the code, but it would not go through. Are Tesco's on to this one?

Will try another store tomorrow :rotfl: . Oh, no sign of any new H&B yet, will keep eyes peeled...

Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks so much for the info re the toiletry coupons from the QK - I used a clothing one a couple of weeks ago, and did not think I would use the toiletry ones - until I found this thread! Today I got 2 huge bottles Tresemme hair conditioner, 2 huge bottles plax, 4 small bottles Sanex showergel/shampoo 2in1 - SA had no problem taking several vouchers, can't remember exact combination, but basically I paid about 30p for this lot! And that's just on the vouchers from the QK, no H&B ones. My husband's only just getting his head around all the Boots stuff, not sure if he can take any more - mind you, he did get £30 of jumper and socks for £12 by combining 3 x £6 clothing vouchers - but that's another story... Thanks again, and happy moneysaving to all.

Boo! I had my first go with the coupons at a local tesco extra.

I bought 2 x Plax and 2 x Tresemme, along with other shopping but SA would only take 1 x quit beauty, 1 x quit toiletry and 1 x plax.

I explained that I had spent over £10 in toiletries etc, but she wouldnt even scan more than 1 of each.

I guess I still got all those toiletries for about £3 so I cant moan that much.

Is there a way I could do it better by only doing £5 worth at a go (if they will only accept one of each coupon??) I only have quit vouchers.

Any ideas please???

I had problems today as well. I bought 2 lots of face wipe thingys that came to £5.70. Multisaved it down to £2.75. Tried to use £1.00 HB and £1.00 quit kit and the till would take neither - Looks like Mr T may have sorted his tills out.:eek:

Why not try as you did before without the tresemme?

2 x plax = £5.76

bogof -£2.88
QK beauty -£1.25
QK toiletries -£1.25
QK plax -£1.00

Total = -£0.62

Hopefully this should work and I'll be trying it later. They are getting v strict on vouchers at my local too and will only take one of each QK.

i'm sorry to ask, but if you don't ask you don't get and my local never had any this time nor last time.

the only r&r i ever had was 15p on garlic.

i'm just not very lucky in tesco.

today i was told also that they were not accepting internet coupons unless you buy the product from now on

maybe i should just stick to boots!?

i'd really like to take advantage of these offers though....so if anyone DOES have any spares, i'd of course send a sae - or do they expire soon?
