Bah! Being such a sucker for a bargain I trundled off to a vaguely localish Tesco I'd never been to before, armed with a shopping list for Tresemme, fish oil (yuck) vitamins for the ol' pa, and plenty of plax... with a pocket burting of plax vouchers... and BOOOO.... plax wasn't stocked!

Does anyone know if there's any difference with the Tesco, Tesco Metro and Tesco-something-else (direct? or is that just online stuff?) stores? Are prices different, and do some not accept vouchers as willingly? Pretty sure the Tesco Metro in Notting Hill doesn't have a R'n'R sign up (and never has)....

i did really well last night bought 4 x plax
    used:- 1 x £2.50
    2 x £1.00 h&b
    2 x £1.25 toilet quit
    2 x £1.25 beauty quit
    4 x £1.00 plax quit
= over £7.50 to spend on my other shopping which is great if your staff take more that one voucher like the one i went too.

That's the exact combination I did the other day, was very pleased with myself. Have to try it again next time I am in Tesco, not sure when that will be with all this snow and kids to entertain at home... :rotfl:

I thought I would try to get the Quatro Razor reduced to £2.98 from £5.98 but it didn't work it wouldn't accept my three vouchers two from quit pack and one £1 off from the tesco mag, still decided to keep the razor as it was still cheap, I thought it would still go through at full price does this only work on the BOGOF offers? and not the reductions. I went back in and had trouble with the colgate toothpaste oxygen it stated BOGOF at £2.54 yet when i scanned it through on the self services till they came up at £1.88 each which was strange so I deleted them from my shopping and came home feeling down

Well my local tesco metro's and express's are more expensive than my local tesco's. They also don't seem to have the same offers as local big tescos, some are some aren't. I wouldn't even bother to try vouchers in my local ones, I know they wouldn't do it.

My two local Tesco Metros only ever stock a few of the Bogofs and other special offers. Even if they do stock the items, they are sometimes not on offer. Also, the prices are higher in these stores. They only accept manufacturer's coupons when you buy the product. They do accept Tesco's own coupons when you buy those products.

    Hi

i think it does only work on BOGOF or 3 for 2's as it doesnt take the discount off til the end so the thinks you have spend enough.

better luck next time hun x
