To all who Pm'ed me about the quit coupons - huge apologies cos I'm not as good as organizing myself as I am at saving money. They were all put in envelopes and addressed on Monday/Tuesday - it only took me 3 days to find/buy extra stamps and then 1 extra day to pass a postbox on the way to Tesco !!!! Rest assured though all your coupons went out today.
i think i need to become a FLYbaby !!The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -

I quite like the thread that someone high jacked and started posting pictures of their cats, very silly but you can never have too many pictures of cats :rotfl:

Was trying to do just a small shop today, but should have done the 3 4 2 on those gifts, shouldn't I? Oh well, good excuse for another visit to Mr T's very soon
, using more coupons ofcourse. And managed to get the last Daily Mail from my newsagents today after reading about the £4 coupon! I love MSE :j
And yes, I know that may sound sad to some of you, but also know I am not the only one... :T🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
I did 6 small shops today - 3 this morning at 7.15am, I picked up the nivea and then the 3 for 2 gifts, I got lovely glass vases for £2.84 I believe on 3 for 2, pretty umbrellas, little xmas photo frames and a mini garden tool set. The SA accepted all the vouchers I gave her - she is a lovely lady although PMT was playing up today but I recommended something for that.
Anyway, same store PM another 3 transactions, I bought the reduced xmas crackers to 64p, cards 50 for 30p etc. I wanted to use the health and beauty vouchers and 1 x £2.60 harpers voucher or a £4 book token.
ALL my vouchers were refused INCLUDING the health and beauty ones. I went to CS in the end to seek clarification of their voucher policy and get reimbursed for the toiletry vouchers. I was so distracted today that I walked past at least 50 packs of quit it envelopes !!!
The CS lady had to ask a checkout girl for the voucher policy and I was told vouchers can only be reimbursed IF I buy the item.
However, even though I had overspent I did get some nice Christmas items and I did have some good news today ...........

Thanks guys .............. when I joined this site up to my eyeballs in debt and wondering when the "all remaining constant" phrase could be dropped I never envisaged I would pay off my debts as quick as I did, save so much money, receive sound advice and have such great cyber-friends.
By the way, the handmade glasses vases I bought today with little white stars on went through at only 98p each and then went down to £1.96 after the 3 for 2 promotion - top bargain and will make nice presents.

I also have some quit kit vouchers I would like to swap for any blue clothing vouchers if anyone has any spare, please pm me.
Incidently my local Tesco put out boxes of the quit kits today so anyone having trouble finding them look again!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0
