I did the Vista upgrade checker, and it says all my hardware is fine, but I'm worried upgrading to Vista will slow down my PC a lot, is there anyway I can find out if it will or not?
Also, how can I tell whether I need the 64bit or 32bit version, I'm on a P4 630 3.0GHZ 2MB processor using an Alienware AREA 51 M7700 ..
Thankyou.

Why not stick with XP ? most of the bugs have been sorted now. Vista will undoubtedly have lots of teething troubles and I daresay all the hackers/virus writers will be targeting it.0

The question you should ask yourself is why do you want vista? Is it because the media tells you its the newest shinest best thing out there or is it because your current opperating system doesn't do all you need it to?0
