pc is dead?

in Techie Stuff
i had problem with my pc few days ago and switched off and on.
suddenly i got error messsage saying "windows didnot start properly due to change in hardware or software change" it then ask wether i want to start in safe mode etc and keeps up with same message.
i tried rebooting with the original disk (pc is emachine)
however i got message saying harddrive had been wiped off and nothing come up . itried again with disk and got gost error message and now nothing is happening except for a dot on the left corner. does any one have an idea?

Too late now, I'm afraid. Appears you've tried a reinstal and have formatted the drive.
Try the boot disc again. What options do you get?0
