Quite a few discounts going on, half the shop is empty shelves now.

Not everything is cheap, I thought a lot was still at normal prices. However by the front door they have a cople of pallets full of pasta sauce 10p per pot BOGOF!

I got 16 pots two different flavours for 80p

they are heinz 'planet cook' 'for kids'
sweet pepper
tomato and pesto
squashed tomato
mild chilli

Dated Dec 2006, but they ain't going to go off they are sealed in jars.

Well two of our stores in Barry have closed down, the one in High Street and the one on Barry Island. We do have the Hyper Value warehouse which last time I went the staff had just heard that they will be remaining open.

The store was very empty and there wasn't much stock around. I did however get some multi-coloured Christmas outdoor lights from £19 down to £8, however on closer inspection 3 of the bulb holders were broken so I asked if I could have a discount and the lights were reduced to £6. So it is worth asking.

Are you sure, the last time I was there about two weeks ago I asked and they said they definately werent closing. Maybe its a recent decision...

Maybe they are just going to refurnish the shop, but there is a stock clearance sale on.
