Stagecoach bus chaos !

This may be totally the wrong thread to put this in but seen as it is classed as public transport it will have to live here !
I bought a student saver pass from stagecoach 11 days ago it still hasnt turned up and when i phoned to get my 54 quid refund I was told that they wouldnt give me the cash back until I had send back the pass, now if this has been lost by royal mail they still wont accept responsibility for it and my refund would be non existent !!! Anyone got any advice if i could get my money back and if i am paying for services which stagecoach arnt providing is illegal ?

I doubt you could a refund but they should be able to send a replacement pass. If royal mail have lost it thats not your problem but stagecoaches. Phone and demand they send you a replacement as you still haven't received your other pass.
Its unlikely they will give you a refund without the pass because what would stop you still using the pass after getting your refund.

A replacement unfortunately wasnt an option ! The bus pass runs out soon anyway as it was only valid for the summer, its just very annoying as i have had to spend way beyond what I should just to cover the travel costs whilst waiting for the ticket to arrive !

They are responsible for getting it to you, they haven't done so, simple claim for a refund under the SoGA, surely?
