18185 Contact and welcome email

Hi

Anyone yet managed to find a way to contact the 18185 guys? I'd sure like to know.

I've so far clocked up under £2 in phone charges and now when I dial a number they say my account is over the allowed limit and my use of the service is frozen for some days. Aaargh!

Never did receive the welcome email, either - does it contain anything useful? If someone could post up a anonymised example that would be helpful to see if there's anything I should know.

(I managed to locate my customer number via an instruction buried in the horrible FAQ system they run.)

All feedback gratefully received.

Online. You manage your own account online.

As you've only just joined, you will probably have to wait for a while before you can log into your account though.

When you have your account number, log in via the below link and click on Your payment details..

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
