Saw some tickets for a festival on Gumtree that I wanted.
Responded to seller that I wanted to purchase his tickets. Seller tells me that I can collect and pay cash or bank transfer and he will send the tickets.
I asked him to email picture of tickets before I bank transferred.
That was on Monday night. Sent the bank transfer and seller said he would e-mail me when he posted in the morning.
No e-mails or replies to the 3 e-mails I have sent him since and no sign of the tickets.
Only information I have for the sellers is his e-mail, Name and bank account info from the bank transfer.
Am I screwed?

Have you contacted your bank to see if the BACS has completed? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

If the money has already gone through, then you are screwed.
Bank transfer + tickets = well known scam.
By all means report it to the police, but not easy when you don't have many details, so you may end up putting this down to experience!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
Normally scammers don't offer 'cash on collection' payment terms....."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

The receiving bank will have the account holder's details. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
