Pedigree Joint Care Plus - large dogs, best place to buy?

Seen on amazon at this price:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pedigree-Joint-Large-raquo-treats/dp/B004FGD2TQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=garden&qid=1310679644&sr=8-5
VivoVet directly 27.68 or something like that - just wondering if genuine at this price?

Has anyone used Vivo Vet before?

Does anyone buy this item? Where from?

Thanks

  • I haven't used it, sorry, so can't comment on suppliers.

If you wanted a natural joint supplement, I just wanted to suggest Cortaflex. There are 2 strengths - the colourful container, and the all-white container. They cost roughly the same, but the all-white one is much stronger so you use less, hence much better value. We've found it really helps for our lab/collie mutt who has always had a stiff shoulder since we got her (occasional bouts of limping) and is now getting on a bit. That said, it made no difference for our bigger dog (who ended up needing knee surgery, despite the local vets suggesting it was her hip). We get it from here: http://www.caninecortaflex.co.uk/cortavet-canine-feline-solution-946ml-p-76.html and buy two at a time for the discount.

I don't use Pedigree products but I do regularly use Viovet and have never had any problems - easy website to use and deliveries are quick and well packaged.
  • Another vote for Viovet - I've found them fantastic: great customer service, very quick delivery (ordered last lot of Metacam on the Monday night & had it on the Wednesday) and very good prices.

Re the Joint sticks - I tried them a while ago (money off vouchers for registering and also on offer at the supermarkets so VERY cheap) - TBH I can't say I noticed a difference and wasn't sure about the additives etc in them so gave up.

He now gets Glaucosamine & Chrondroitin, MSM and Green Lipped Mussel added to his meal & is doing really well (sure it's much better for them and not too expensive).
