Viridian shares

Viridian was privatised in 1993 when Northern Ireland Electcity. Does anyone know the exact date?

    No, Capita is the registrar. Viridian has been bought by a Bahraini bank.

    thanks...so is the money that Capita sent me from this Bahraini bank to pay me for my shares....have I just sold them without knowing?

    Yes, all existing shareholders have sold their shares in Viridian

    A couple of months ago, you should have received some paperwork saying an recommended bid was being made for the company via a 'Scheme of Arrangement' and asking you to vote on it.

    The deal went ahead so ElectricInvest Acquisitions Limited (a subsidiary of Arcapita - the company which brought Viridian) purchased all the shares - hence the payment you recently received.
