BT and Credit check

Hi
I am moving into new rental property and will need to have a complete new line put in, I was just about to complete my online order with BT and it states they credit check. Even though I am in alot better position now, I know from past issues and also trying to apply for a contract mobile, I will not pass a c check.
Anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

You can't fail a BT credit check. If your credit rating is not so good they will ask for a deposit of anything from £25 to £150 that is refunded after 6 months.0
