I don't understand "video to stay in the loop". Anyway, the best place to get answers is here:

If you can't figure it out, go to the Forum and list your equipment (make/model for each unit) and what you expect it to do.0 -
Hi
By in the loop I mean to still be able to play video's. The kids haven't out grown there thomas collection yet!!0 -
Hi Little
Does your TV have 2 SCARTS ? If so pop the video on one, if free - out of the loop !
Not sure about the sky stuff but you may get to hear about Sky+Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -
Just ditch the video recorder, I did recently and have never looked back. Go on...you will be fine.
Any precious videos you want to keep just connect to the dvd recorder with a scart cable and tranfer to dvd.0 -
plug the sky box into the scart input into the DVD recorder and then plug the TV into the scart output.
If you've got a DVD recorder i resume the video will only be used for watching videos so bin the scart from it and use the RF areial socket to go from tv to video and tune a channel in on the TV.0
