What does windows 7 starter mean, is it fully windows 7?
I have a dell mini 10 now and its great.
Windows 7 Starter is a stripped down version if Windows 7 that runs better on netbooks than the standard version would run. MS state that the minimum RAM requirement for Windows 7 is 2GB and most netbooks only come with 1GB so in order for them to run it without clogging down they removed quite a lot in the Starter version such as the ability to change the background, the Aero theme etc.0 -
@ Alexdrans have you spotted any other good sim free phone deals, I am looking for something for my daughters birthday that will impress her. She is 16 and would really likely something a bit more flashy than her current phone. Something that she can use the internet on but not too keen on the Blackberrys.
Thanks0 -

So just some bells and whistles taken off, but still an upgrade from XP would you say?0 -
Just checking are the Dells brand new factory sealed etc, not refurbs or returns?0

For that reason I prefer it that people don't post them on HUKD. The first netbook that I posted sold out within an hour (from over 100 in stock) and a lot of people on MSE missed out on it.
I agree, I like this 'mini club' in this thread, just pointing out that if you were a plant by carphone warehouse you would shouting it on every forum going.0 -
Last couple of questions:
Is it free home delivery?
Are they open on the phones yet, do I just give the model number or do I need a product code?0
