Anyone know how to reduce the size of a flowchart in word?

I used to be able to do it in earlier versions of word but can't seem to fathom it in word 2007.

We copied and pasted a flowchart into word from another word document but it's too big for the page, is there anyway to reduce the size overall of it so it fits the new document? :undecided

Click once and there should be a little square on the bottom-right corner of the chart to reduce it

Did you apste it from Excel? If so, reduce the size on it in Excel first and then export to Word

No from one word document to the new word document. We tried reducing the size ratio and using the clicking and dragging before pasting into the new word document but whilst it reduced the size a little we lost some of the flowchart in the process.

If you have text above and below the flowchart, copy some lines too either side of the flowchart and repaste onto the new Word file. What happens now?

Have you tried inserting a text box into the new page and then inserting flow chart into that - just a thought

  • In what format is this flowchart? Or how was it created?
