Is there child prices any more for a package deal? 2 yr old paying an adult price?

can you help me?

I am looking at booking and AI holiday to Lazanrote over New Year, horror upon horrors at the cost! They are asking for an awful lot of money for my 2 yr old!

I am sure we used to book holidays and get childrens prices, is this non existant now?

Last time I looked at a package it would have been cheaper to book as 4 adults than 2 adults and 2 children!

As I remember there was a reduced child price but then you had to pay "under-occupancy" as this is based on filling the apartment with adults - and it worked out more!!

Flights are a con too - they expect you to pay a forture for baggage 5kg overweight but they don't usually give you a discount for a young child who maybe 50kg lighter than an adult!

It was 1800 for room, 366 each per flight, and then there is luggage on top of that

    so just under 3k!

Well technically yes, however we do have another couple who will be coming with us so if you could price them a room also, just same details but two adults

Just had a quick look there

If you look at flying Ryanair from Prestwick on the 29th Dec for 10 nights £1168.00 inc 20kgs of bags each

Accomodation from various operators around £1540.00 based on the Dream Gran Castillo AI

    www.travelrepublic.co.uk

    www.ulookubook.com

    www.monarch.co.uk

    and many more

Transfers would be around £50 - £60 return through

    www.a2btransfers.com

So total on 10 nights would be £2761.00

I will see what 7 nights would be for you
