Haven Wild Duck anyone stayed there?

Depending upon where you are, the fuel might not be a lot more and the eurotunnel is cheap if you book in advance, the ferries cheaper still. I realise it might not be within your budget, but I write this to try to point out that even when Haven is cheap and half-price it isn't great value. You're essentially getting a tiny caravan, that may well stink of stale smoke, in a field on the edge of nondescript village in the middle of nowhere (even by Norfolk standards), with precious few facilities and very amateur 'entertainment'. Plus they'll try to sell you a caravan.

Eurotunnel (even if get good deal) plus likely extra fuel will be a couple of hundred more surely and if price was under £300 compared to £370 then you are looking at pretty much £300 more as a minimum plus Euro spending rather than £ spends.

I don't doubt its better but at twice the price it should be and not really a direct comparison!!

Wild Duck was a lovely Haven site when we went a few years ago. As others have said a smallish and secluded site but not a problem if you have a car. Your overly dramatic description of the site certainl;y doesn;t stack up with mine or otehr reviewrs descriptions. i am no Haven fan in general I would add either
