You may be in for a disappointment...

I suppect this was a scam but i see ABIL is a company and my father who bought the shares was no fool and was aware of scams , this is why its unusual for him to trade in non uk markets.
Is it possible that these shares are ok as he still has letters coming to him from Asiaraider Secretaries Ltd.
I have emailed Asiaraider Secretaries Ltd and await their reply, fingers crossed0 -
From an article in 2006: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-1595944/Hounded-by-rogues-then-the-state.html#ixzz1S6HiOzWK
Heading: Where in the world is Blossom Hill?
"The only glimmer of hope is that Australian Biofund Investment does exist, according to investment watchdogs in Australia. But the shares are not quoted on the stock exchange.

Firstly, if Asiaraider do contact you then under no circumstances should you part with any further cash - they may suggest charging an advance fee for a sale, or perhaps some other reason.
I strongly suggest that you read the following from the FSA's web-site without delay.

In the meantime, collect all paperwork and emails together that you and your father may have.

Thanks you have pointed me in the direction I need to go, its not the money but the whole idea that he would invest in such a company, he has contacts in Australia which at the time of investment makes sense to me, but I am fully aware that it is a fruitless investigation on my part but also interesting. I will post my findings .0
