I hope this may help someone, we bought an ipod nano for our daughters xmas and it wouldnt switch on, you could see it in windows and also i tunes but it just wouldnt respond so i spent 20 mins onto apple via an 0870 number and the solution was to upgrade the ipod software and also i tunes to version 7.02, so if anyone is having problems try upgrading both, available from the apple site, hope this maybe to help to someone and maybe save them the cost of a lengthy phone call;)
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Generally with any peripheral device (such as a printer) you should ensure that you are using the latest software/driver before connecting. The software supplied on CD is often out of date because it can spend weeks in storage between manufacture and arriving at your door.0
