Yes - they do.
My wife bought me one about 9 years ago.
Leaving a London stattion ( Waterloo?? - can't recall )
and the train went way out into the sticks.
And then back again
The food on board was good, silver service - champagne was available too
The coaches are amazing - a once in a lifetime experience.:j
( I don't think it's something I would do year on year though )
So - go for it - dress up smart and make an occasion of it.
Oh - BTW - check which engine is pulling the carriages. Sometimes is the steam train - other times a modern electric or diesel.
Best

I have been lucky enough to do this on two occasions and it is fantastic. The first time Lord E paid for it and we went to York from Waterloo , very very nice and gave you an insight as to how the other half live. Second time around it was with a bunch of girlys , and it was a celebration birthday. I redeemed some Nectar points (think it was 3000) and we got 25% OFF the total , well worth it. We went to Bath on that trip and again it was amazing. Dress up posh and remember whilst on board to walk though all the carriages as they each have their own decor. Staff were fantastic and it is worth purchasing a little something to remember your trip by . Good luck and enjoy , your wife will love you forever.0
