Hi There,
I'm writing this on behalf of my Mum who is a little unsure of what to do.
We are currently on the Scottish Gas Standard Tarriff for Gas and Electricity, and we have the EnergySmart monitor where we give meter readings every month - so rather than estimates, it is actual billing.

My Mum today received an email about an March 2013 Price Promise tariff, and she is unsure what would happen had she to switch to this - would it go back to the estimated readings and estimated billing?

Thanks :)
Currently in a Trust Deed 30 payments until DEBT FREE - February 2027

Do not go on this tariff has a £100 cancellation charge if leaves BG before march 2013 and it's ridiculously expensive, ther are cheaper fixed deals from edf, npower, eon and sse(in your area scottish hydro), with the exception of eon, all those other co's have a cancellation charge attached to their fixed rates, best bet is get the annual kWh usage for your mums property and do an online comparison, price promise 2013 from Bg is on their and you'll see how naff it is.
