Good stir and it will be fine. I've emptied my fridge of so many jars by being inventive and I know most were out of date :eek:2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Well - today I FINALLY figured out how the blender bit of my food processor works... and did myself a batch of Thai-spiced Courgette and Sweet potato soup... should be enough for 3 freezer portions.
Tilly - ta for the tip - will give it a good stir (at least the lid didn't appear to look all mouldy)... and will do that salad for tea tonight.
That's another 2 recipes to then add to my list and laminate for future use! Yum!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Well the Dijon mustard seemed ok and the salad was nice! However my NSD definitely comes to an end tomorrow as I am having a tennis hit with some classmates at lunchtime - it costs us £5 for an hour on court ... Split at least 2 ways tomorrow if not 3 or 4 ... Good value! I also need milk for cereal!!! No ways round that one!!!!

Not only that but I quite liked the salad dressing it made - so I can see mustard absorbed potatoes as a regular item on my menu with the smoked mack ... it was amazing...
Weird, this month "off" has really kicked into gear my roaming around recipes!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Hurrumph - My back has been killing me all day so I didn't bother going into town (money saved!) ...
Operation scoff-stuff-in-the-fridge is in session for today/tomorrow...
After finally discovering how to use the blender... I need to get a few soups on the go and in the freezer... so I think I will pick a couple of them and get the veggies in for those... so it might be a bit of a hefty shop over the next two visits (spaced out over the next 4 weeks thankfully).
Right - taking my bad back downstairs in time for Strictly!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

I just rock on a Saturday night ... Like I said ... Livin' the dream!!!

Hi Hurdler, I recommend you make a hot chocolate and sit down. This crazy rock and roll lifestyle will wear you out :rotfl:

I didn't find any hot chocolate in the freezer ...:search:
In all seriousness there's no/not much money coming in this month so I thought it was worth knowing what I had to munch through to save some money...
For example I have 4 chilli chicken skewers that can be used for a homemade Thai on Monday which should spare some space for my planned soup-a-thon...
I have a ridiculous amount if chicken mini fillets which are better than using up a whole chicken breast as I am trying to keep portions down as part of my calorie logging.
