F&F Settlement Process?

have recently decided to make a full and final offer on my IVA, a friend has offered me 4-5k to pay it off (I currently have just over 6k left to pay over the next 3-4 years) I was going to offer about 4k and see how that goes first. I contacted my IP and as usual ive had very little response back, so ill ask a few questions here:
  1. What do I need to send my IP to make the offer, I know about the letter but do they need anything else?
  2. will the person making me the offer need to be identified or contacted in anyway involved?
  3. If they do not accept the offer, will my iva run as usual? What happens after a rejection?

Im offering this because im being made redundant in September and want to clear it before this happens basically, and I want rid of it all now.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
