I hope this can help a few people, i was in ikea the other day and they had 2 different energy saving light bulbs on offer.
There were 2 types they both came in packs of three & both 11W = 60w.
1 was normal bayonet type & they were 3 for £2.49. Ikea code 20067730
1 was Large screw type 3 for £2.99. Ikea code 40067729.
These i saw in the croydon branch, there were loads of them there.
A real bargain :money:0 -

I got a couple of the Philips Softone bulbs which took about 10 days to arrive.
Compared to other sorts of bulbs they're not particularly cheap, and they take a minute or so to achieve full brightness. But, for a 100W equivalent bulb they're sufficiently short that they don't stick out of the bottom of my lampshades!Stompa0 -
