Better Prices than Main High Street Stores - Garden Furniture

Hi everyone
Just seen a nice table/chair combination for my garden as we're in need of a dining set. Looking at the main high street stores - Homebase, B&Q etc and have a price in mind, but just wondering if there are any garden websites that you recommend?
Just very conscious that major retailers do get a very high profit margin so thought there must be someone else out there that charges an honest price for good quality sets....
Thanks guys,
L

I saw the most amazing huge garden set, glass table, bronze chairs and parasol in a garden centre for £2499. I just looked under the table, googled the company who made it and bought direct for £1800.
Google, saves you money! :cool:0 -
Hello! Did google some bits but its funny, you never know if these companies are genuine (have worked online too much :-) ) don't know exactly what I want so just looking at 'garden sets dining' which is a bit vague really :-(
thanks for your post though, pleased you got a nice deal, thats what its all about! You can bury a lot of troubles digging in the dirt

Have you tried your local garden centres / nurseries (no, not B&Q/Homebase). In my area most of them also do furniture including some of the small family owned nurseries and you can find some really nice pieces at great prices. You could also try Range if there's one near you, I wandered through my local one the other day and spotted some garden sets with really good prices although I didn't stop to check quality.0

Hiya
thanks tizerbelle, we only have b&q, homebase, notcutts and wyevale, the private nurseries around here I know about only do plants and ones a wholesaler so don't really like the public to go in so its pretty hard. The only one I can think of is real base price so I'd be concerned about how robust and long lasting they are - a few years will do us I guess, any longer would be fantastic! You can bury a lot of troubles digging in the dirt
