Paper gift for husband on our 1st anniversary?

is Mr sentimental and musical....if he is you could get the sheet music for one of the memorable songs at your weddingand mount it with the CD paper cover of the music into a frame and create a montage...I know you said no photos but its a bit of a memory rather than a photo.

It might be way out of budget but a couple I knew bought a bed as a joint first anniversary gift to each other, their logic being that paper is made of wood. So something made of wood might work in a 'thinking outside the box' kind of way...

There's also part of me that would want to make some kind of slightly cheesy 'Best Husband In The World'/'Thanks for putting up with me for a year'-type certificate. Or maybe writing him a love letter?

I think it would be nice to just write a letter, recounting your memories of the proposal, the wedding, the honeymoon and your first year together. Would be something he'd keep forever.

Or, tickets to a show or similar?
Maybe the newspaper from the wedding day, or something similar...hmm...

Does he like the theatre? You could get him some 'paper' tickets to see one his favourite shows/plays etc

My oh did the inthepaper website thingy where you write your own newspaper front page and they send it to you. He wrote up about our wedding day, uploaded a wedding piccy and put how he felt etc in the article and then went out on the morning and bought a paper and stuck it on the front and said oooh look at the paper....

We have a copy framed.

we gave my SILB and her OH toliet papper. In all seriousness I've heard of people giving season tickets of memebership to the national trust, art galleries etc.
