Will it be stored on or off the road?

Off the road on my drive, I do not need a permit.

That actually sounds about right for a one-off skip in the North West, most places are around £130+VAT.

We pay, on average, £90+VAT but we tend to use around 20 skips per week in the North West...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    Hiya,

did you get that quote on the internet? When my Dad had to clear my Grandma’s house in Denton we found skiphireuk.co.uk would beat any online quote from another broker (I guess they have to check it’s a real figure before they agree). It might be worth a shout if you’ve not already scheduled it.

Rich is right. Skiphire were running a very good introductory offer. I paid £100 + VAT.

Their price is £130+VAT for an 8 cubic yard skip. Which is pretty much the same as they have already been quoted...

skiphire's facility is closed at the moment due to having to clean up after two fires (http://www.junction25recycling.com/).

  • Hi,

On Behalf of Skip Hire UK, we are very sorry to hear of Junction 25 Recycling's problems but we'd like to assure our customers that they are not one of our suppliers and so our Skip Hire and recycling services in Manchester are unaffected.

    Kind regards

    Katie
