Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has used this company to buy/sell their house?
I'm buying my first house with my boyfriend and we were told to use them but I find them very difficult and rather unhelpful. I was wondering if it is just us or if other people feel the same?
Thank you in advanced

Have you checked their small print because they may not be as cheap as you think? -
You might find things like mortgage admin fees, SDLT form completion fee, and Chancel Repair Block Policy admin fee.
Did you have that kind of thing explained to you?
Also is the estate agent getting a "kick-back" from Simply Conveyancing?RICHARD WEBSTER
As a retired conveyancing solicitor I believe the information given in the post to be useful assuming any properties concerned are in England/Wales but I accept no liability for it.0 -

Did the estate agents say that you had to use them?
If they did then you can point out to Simply Conveyancing that this is the case and threaten to report them to their professional body for accepting instructions in a situation where you were not given a free choice of lawyer.RICHARD WEBSTER

but inexperienced home buyers listen to estate agents who refer people to crap conveyancers for the cash back that the agents get. that's why there are factory conveyancers out there who offer crap everything. My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0
