Holidaying in Feb/March anyone?

Fancy a holiday in Feb/March time but not too sure where to go, that would be a reasonable temperature. For a week. Any ideas?

nowhere in europe will be very warm then, not even cyprus, we went to majorca at the start of april once, it was warmer than here but still too cool for outdoor swimming. florida is nice at that time of year, but get into march and it's spring break = very busy, as is presidents weekend, mid feb. usually. the last week of feb/first week march is ideal, my sil and family are going then. egypt / red sea is warm then , I think, as is the caribbean, you can normally get good late deals for jamaica/barbados with virgin if you avoid half term in mid february. we are going to mexico in april, we saved over £400 by not going at easter, u.s spring break is over by mid april too. the dom. rep can be very cheap but I have heard mixed reports, as long as you go 5* there it should be ok. the same goes for cuba. it all depends if you don't mind long haul flights for just a week, I think that long haul all inc. is actualy cheaper than european holidays, we spent as much in menorca as we did going to florida and that includes theme park tickets!

We are off to Tenerife for Feb half term as we did this this year. Weather was lovely, sea a little cold but not unbearable. We found loads to do and occupy the little ones (6 and 3). Worth considering, as an option . Good luck

the canary islands are usually warm in our winter months and quite reasonably priced too, 4 hour flights so not unbearable with children either.
i've always gone on holiday in the winter months to 1 of the islands and never had a problem with the weather.

    happy new year ! :D
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A

I've been to the Canaries 4 times, in Sept, Jan, Feb and April and it has always been beautiful - warm enough to sunbathe, but they don't often heat the pools unless you go somewhere posh!

I have enjoyed Fuerteventura (stay away from Caleta del Fuste unless you like English pubs, full Sunday roast and East Enders every night), and particularly liked Jandia. Corralejo is big but loads to do.

Tenerife I really liked (or was it just the hotel? - hardly moved away from the pool all week) apart from the black sand.

The Canaries are almost guaranteed good weather, but it can be windy. The food is great and cheap. Pick your resort carefully - if you like really touristy, loads of noise, like England but in the sun, then there are plenty of resorts, but also it's possible to get really nice quiet places.

Lanzarote I went on a day trip and that also looked really nice.

I went to Tenerife in March this year and am off again next year, it was lovely, hot but not too hot, I booked through Expedia and will do so again this year.
