early learning centre - do they swap/refund without a receipt?

one of my aunts got chops the same present for crimbo that mum got her for her birthday. we dont have the receipt. its still boxed and came from ELC. are they ok at refunds/exchanges?

They should be Ant, only problem is if the widget has gone down in price cos of the sales, you might only get the sale price back for it.
Ring them first before you make a wasted journey and see what they can do

They will usually let you swop an item over or maybe ask for vouchers - think I have done both in the past.
