I''ve had new MDF skirting and architrave installed all round. (pre-primed i believe)
Also had some interior woodwork replaced.
I have bought Duluxe Satinwood for all woodwork.
Do i need to undercoat the MDF, or go straight over it with the Satinwood, also, do i have to prime, or undercoat the fresh wood?

Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.
Decided to give up, and haven't had a fag for 12 years.
Halfway through losing six stone.
Looking forward to early retirement.

You will get a better finish with a thin undercoat first but will look OK with 2 coats of satinwood applied to primed mdf.bare wood needs a primer first0
