Bravo Rent A Car, Ibiza - deposit not refunded

Upon returning my hire care to Bravo Rent A Car office, just a two minute walk from the airport, I was refunded the 200 Euro deposit and given a receipt which I checked and it indeed stated a credit of 200 Euros.
I thought it strange that I didn't have to hand over my card for the credit to be given but assumed it was becuase they'd stored my details as I had orginially paid a balance online.
When I got home I checked my receipts and noticed that the refund was given to a Visa card that was not mine (or anyone else in my party) and I had paid the original balance by Mastercard.
I have contacted them by email which they are not responding to and have called several times to be told they are investigating, it is with the bank and they are expecting an update in 2-3 days time...
I therefore contact my Credit Card company who advised I have no recourse of action because I walked away with a credit receipt regardless of the card it was made on or who owns that card.
Lesson learned - double check all receipts before walking away!
Does anyone have any advice on any other tactics for getting my deposit back?
