Brondesbury Park, London, area advice

What is the area like for a young professional female? I know it's not far from reasonable areas but also not from less desirable ones and unfortunately it's not an area I'm familiar with!

Oh, property is on Willesden Lane.

Pros and cons please.

There's nothing particularly wrong with that area of London. It's a traditionally working-class one and has good transport links. There's quite a lot of Local Authority housing around there but that does not mean that you will be living near a ghetto or anything like that.

    I second that.

It's not too bad, you're spoiled for transport links! If driving or taking a bus anywhere, beware as it can get very busy (read stuck).

Kilburn High Road is awful as it has so many fast food joints and pound shops, but the area has gotten better in the last ten years.

Thanks guys, I Google street mapped and it looked ok but you can never get a full impression (obviously) from that.

Another one to file in the "possibly" folder in the old possible relocation!

I live in Willesden Green and it's a good area to live in. Brondesbury has good overground connections and Willesden Green underground and Kilburn station nearby, depending on what part of the road you're on, it is a long road. It's also on a bus route that goes straight to Oxford Street.

That area has no trouble, it's less than most areas.
