Hoping you can help me with some ideas! I would like to do a Pot of gold for Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary in August . . . so need 50 things to put in it, any ideas welcome.

Some good ideas, I like the coin and the pen idea. I think I'll do a mix of 'nice' things IYKWIM, and some smaller ie: gold scratch card, gold wrapped sweets.

If you can think of any more ideas, they will be more than welcome!

I've got most of the ideas from ebay by using the search golden wedding....there are literally thousands of matches....have a trawl through and you are bound to get a few more ideas

On a more practical note, how about any tinned/packet/jars of food/drink with 'gold' in the name or golden packaging, gold blend coffee, golden syrup, gold label barley wine etc
