118travel – shocking, immature, unprofessional, aggressive

I recently booked a holiday with 118 travel, they completely lied about certain aspects of the destination on their website when i booked the holiday only to send the correct information in my booking confirmation. The differences were significant so I wanted to cancel my holiday, i spoke to consumer direct (a government organiation) and found i had every right to do so as i had been completely misled. 118 travel tried to find every loophole possible to get out of this mistake, they obviously knew about as they have now changed the information on their sight, unluckily for them i printed off the quote before i bought so i had proof. I have now recieved a refund from 118travel after much upset over the past week, i have never, ever, ever dealt with a company so unprofessional in my life! my first phone call to complain resulted in me being shouted at by a memeber of staff whose kids i could hear screaming in the background as they all work from home, i was told the manager was one person only to be told by someone else it is another person, i then went on to ask if there was a business owner i could speak to and the lady could not even answer that. There is no complaints phone number and the person who we reported our complaint to claimed she was normally the complaints department but was the admin department for that day. I am a scholar in this industry and these people are a disgrace to business, never dealt with such an immature company in my life! DO NOT USE!!
