I contacted Hoover about repairing my 18 month old washing machine,
5 Year FREE parts guarantee big sticker on the machine, you pay for labour only. The price £170. gobsmacked I declined. wish I'd bought a John Lewis own brand, I will next time

Did they not offer you the "extended warranty" thing? £13 a month and you can cancel it after the first month.
Oh and when I bought my Hoover washing machine, it had 2 year labour and 5 years parts.0
