Painting satin over gloss?

Hi All

I am heavily into decorating at the moment and would like to use satin paint instead of the gloss that is there.

Do you have to prepare any differently when you cover gloss with satin or would a light sand down to give a key and a good clean be the answer?

Thanks!

give it a good sand down with 120 grade paper , then wash it over with sugar soap and then paint with 2 coats of satinwood , i can reccomend dulux quich drying satinwood , it's easy to put on , dries quickly and doesn't smell
